Dear Middleburgh Community,
I regret to inform all of you that Jr./Sr. High School Principal Lori Petrosino has decided to retire, effective August 3rd. Mrs. Petrosino has faithfully and selflessly served Middleburgh Central Schools for the past 33 years, first as a teacher, then as a principal since 1999.
Mrs. Petrosino has been a tremendous asset to our district and our students. She has always been one to do things under the radar and behind the scenes as I spoke about at graduation, but you will not find another person who cared about these students more or worked harder to help make sure they succeed.
I, along with the Board of Education, would like to thank Mrs. Petrosino for her decades of dedicated service. We all wish her the best of luck in the future.
Over the coming weeks and months, I will be working with the rest of the administration and the Board of Education to ensure a smooth transition. More details on that transition will be coming over the summer.
