On May 21, MCS will host a meeting for parents and guardians to discuss potential updates to the district’s Title One – Parent Involvement Policy. The meeting will be held from 5:30 to 6 p.m. in the Jr./Sr. High School Conference Room (Room 107). Title One is a federal program aimed at providing financial assistance to schools with a high percentage of children from low-income families. The funds are allocated to help ensure that all students have access to a high-quality education and to support efforts to close the achievement gap among students. The May 21 meeting will provide the community with an opportunity to shape our future plans.
The attendance of parents and guardians at this annual meeting is highly valued as the district navigates these important decisions. If you are unable to attend the meeting but would like to share your observations, email your comments to Director of Pupil Personnel Services Stella Ritter.
