The Middleburgh Advantage Program (MAP) provides a safe and enriching space for K-6 MES students. At the heart of our program are four primary activity areas: Academic Assistance, Experiential Learning, Physical Development, and Creative Arts. Since January 2021, the program has been run by The Schoharie County River Center.
MAP serves K-6 grade students, Mon.-Fri., from 2:45 to 6 p.m.
Registration
MAP has a limited number of openings and currently has a waiting list. Contact Program Director Courtney Nelson to be added to the waiting list.
Cost
There is currently no cost to attend MAP. The program is funded through a Learning and Enrichment After-School Program grant awarded to the Schoharie River Center by the New York State Office of Children and Family Services.
Summer Enrichment Program
The Schoharie River Center typically offers a summer enrichment program for students entering K-6. It runs from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. during the month of July. Enrollment is offered to existing MAP students first and is then opened district-wide.
Details about the summer enrichment program are shared directly with families during the spring.
