Dear MCS Families,
Along with seven other dedicated committee members, I am thrilled to announce we have approved three new concepts to redesign the lawn in front of the high school.
Now it’s time to showcase the Front Courtyard Committee’s collaborative work and to ask for your feedback.
We are excited! For months, the committee met to discuss features and benefits of many options to redevelop the courtyard with you in mind.
I can tell you each of the plans include an educational piece, with botanical tags, where students are involved in planting, designing and upkeep.
The committee collectively sees this as a good opportunity for growth of our agriculture program, our educators can motivate students with hands-on instruction, and of course we will continue to keep this space beautiful for community gatherings.
Our school is the center of the community. Your input on how it looks is invaluable to us. Please join us for a virtual discussion on our Facebook page tonight, December 16, at 5PM.
After the presentation, the public will have until January 8 to give their feedback about the plans by emailing frontcourtyard@middleburghcsd.org
