Parents, let us take one thing off your to do list. You don’t have to pack a lunch or even pay for it, we are here to help. We want to encourage MCS families to take advantage of our free, nutritious school breakfast and lunch program. This invitation goes out to all of our students.
Remote learners who might miss the taste of some of their favorite cafeteria foods can also dig in because parents and guardians can pick up their free meals at the high school cafeteria door between 12:45 and 1:30, every school day, through the end of June. Each day, remote students will receive lunch and breakfast for the next day.
Participating in this free meals program will save you money and time. It’s supported by federal dollars, so the cost will not come back on you in any way. As our community recovers from the effects of the COVID19 public health emergency, we are committed to doing all that we can to provide relief and assurance that the health and safety of your children is our number one priority.
“We are so happy to offer this service for our children and families,” said Superintendent Brian Dunn. “This will ensure that all of our students are ready to learn – every day.”
