Sofia Falco: Clarkson University Achievement Award
This award is designed to recognize junior students who demonstrate strong leadership qualities, positively impact their high school and local community, and have a proven academic record. The recipient of the Clarkson Achievement Award receives a certificate of recognition and receives a $12,000 annual scholarship if accepted and enroll full time at Clarkson.
Eligible students for the award must: Be a member of the junior class;
demonstrate outstanding leadership qualities; have an academic interest in engineering, business, science, or liberal arts; be recognized by students and faculty as having been a positive contributor to their school and community; be enrolled in a college-bound program; have a cumulative GPA of 90 +
Andie Burton: Clarkson University Leadership Award
This award is designed to recognize junior students who demonstrate strong leadership qualities, positively impact their high school and local community, and have a proven academic record. The recipient of the Clarkson Leadership Award receives a certificate of recognition and receives a $15,000 annual scholarship if accepted and enroll full time at Clarkson.
Eligible students for the award must: Be a member of the junior class; demonstrate outstanding leadership qualities; have an academic interest in engineering, business, science, or liberal arts; be recognized by students and faculty as having been a positive contributor to their school and community; be enrolled in a college-bound program; have a cumulative GPA of 90 +
Anna Hooper & Brian Bagley: Elmira College Key Award
Elmira College Key recipients receive an $80,000 scholarship ($20,000 each year) upon enrolling at Elmira College. While enrolled, winners are required to achieve an academic average of 3.0 at the end of each year to remain eligible for the scholarship. Key award winners are required to visit the campus before Dec. 1 of their senior year in high school to qualify for the award.
To be eligible for this award, a junior must be: In good academic standing; have a minimum academic grade point average of 85; have demonstrated outstanding school & community leadership.
William Churchill: Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI) Medal
This award recognizes a junior student who demonstrates potential for success in a challenging academic setting; excels in advanced math and science courses; and exhibits significant involvement in extracurricular activities. This $25,000 per year merit scholarship is guaranteed for four years (five years for the School of Architecture program) for each medalist who applies, is accepted, and chooses to enroll at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
Eligible students for the award must: Be a member of the junior class; demonstrate potential for success in a challenging academic setting; excel in advanced math and science courses; exhibit significant involvement in extracurricular activities; have a cumulative GPA of 98 +
Tyler Mann: Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT) Computing Medal
The RIT Computing Medal is given to students in the Junior class who demonstrate an interest and ability in the field of computing. The recipient is guaranteed a fee waiver for their application along with the Computing Medal Scholarship valued at $28,000 ($7,000 per year) if they are accepted and enroll full time at RIT in the fall following graduation from high school. The scholarship is not limited to a computing-related major at RIT and may be used to support study in any undergraduate program at RIT.
To be eligible students must: Have an average of 98 or higher in a rigorous college-preparatory curriculum; demonstrate an interest and ability in the field of computing. (This may be evidenced by superior grades in computing-related classes or completion of a school or community project that demonstrates a high level of knowledge or experience in computing); demonstrate leadership in school and/or community activities.
Julianna Keyser: Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT) Innovation & Creativity Award
The RIT Innovation & Creativity Award is given to students in the Junior class who demonstrate outstanding achievement in innovation, creativity, or entrepreneurship. The recipient is guaranteed a fee waiver for their application along with the RIT Innovation & Creativity Scholarship valued at $28,000 ($7,000 per year) if they are accepted and enroll full time at RIT in the fall following graduation from high school. The scholarship is not limited to an innovation, creativity, or entrepreneurship related major at RIT and may be used to support study in any undergraduate program at RIT.
To be eligible students must: Have an average of 98 or higher in a rigorous college-preparatory curriculum; be a leader in the school and/or community;
demonstrate outstanding achievement in innovative, creativity, or entrepreneurship (ex.: innovative use of technology in business, science, math, art, crafts, design, film or photography; creating a new or unique project in art, craft, design, animation, or photography using divergent thinking, imagination, and/or risk-taking)
Lily Davis, Gianna Bynum, Madison Palmatier and Samantha Zinssar: Sage College’s ‘The Student Sage Award’
Recipients of the award will receive a certificate of nomination, an invitation to a Student Sage Scholars’ Reception, and be guaranteed a minimum of $10,000 per to attend the Sage Colleges. All nominations must be confirmed by the Sage Scholarship Committee. Criteria: A student from the junior class who embodies The Sage Colleges motto: “To Be, To Know, To Do.”

“To Know” Candidates should be top academic achievers who:
Have maintained an 88+ academic average (using only Math, Science, History, English and Language)

Desire to lead the school/community in ways that improve the community’s well-being, growth and communication
Are motivated to serve and inspire others to develop and grow
Anna Hooper: St. Lawrence University Book Award
The recipient of this award will receive a book selected by St. Lawrence University. In addition, the recipient will receive a $4,000 ($1,000 per year for 4 years) merit scholarship if they apply and are admitted to St. Lawrence University. In recognition of the value that the St. Lawrence Community places on service to others, St. Lawrence University will honor the achievements of a Junior at New Hartford Senior High School who has displayed a significant commitment to community service.
To be eligible for this award, a junior must be: In good academic standing;
Have a minimum academic grade point average of 88; have demonstrated outstanding school & community leadership.
University Of Rochester High School Awards Program
Recipients of the following awards are not guaranteed scholarship money, but if accepted to Rochester University, are eligible to apply for scholarship grants associated with the award. The scholarship amounts range from $10,000 to $20,000 per year for 4-years. The college application fee is waived for award winners.
Andie Burton : Frederick Douglass and Susan B. Anthony Award-
This award recognizes one junior based upon the following criteria:
A demonstrated commitment to understanding & addressing difficult social issues · Leadership & dedication to community action
Academic success & rigorous course taken in the humanities and social sciences
Ashley Ciafardo : George Eastman Young Leaders Award
This award recognizes one junior based upon the following criteria:
Strong leadership experience at school & in the community
Achieved high grades in challenging courses
Extensive involvement in extracurricular activities
Ethan Adams & Mary Gebhard: The Wells College 21st Century Leadership Award
The Wells College 21st Century Leadership Award program honors students who embody the spirt, integrity, and intellectual qualities of successful leaders. Recipients of this award receive a $40,000 scholarship ($10,000 each year) upon enrolling at Wells College.
Criteria: Be a Junior; have a minimum academic grade point average of 90; have demonstrated outstanding school & community leadership
