New York State defines community schools as “public schools that emphasize family engagement and are characterized by strong partnership and additional supports for students and families.” It is the mission of the Middleburgh Central School District Community School Program (CSP) to support school improvement efforts that lead to better student outcomes.
During the school year, our focus has been on providing both remediation and enrichment after school. Students have the opportunity to receive snack, learn relaxation and mindfulness techniques, get homework help, and gain access to computer-based learning.
Some of our primary goals moving forward involve nurturing our community connections and grow them. If you have ideas and/or would like to partner with us please contact the CSP Coordinator.
