This summer, Middleburgh Central Schools will offer a fitness program for all students in grades 7-12. This fitness program is free to any Middleburgh student in grade 7-12 for the 2019-20 school year.
The fitness program will run Monday-Friday from 9:00 a.m. to Noon beginning July 1 and running through August 9. There will be no program on July 4 or July 5. During this time, Middleburgh students will be able to use free weights, cable machines, Smith machines, and cardiovascular equipment in the Jr./Sr. High School Fitness Room. Physical Education teacher Gregg Johns will supervise and instruct the program.
Instruction will also be provided on: spotting, safety, program design, sport specific training, flexibility training, and weight training.
To participate, children must be a Middleburgh Central Schools student in grades 7-12 for the 2019-20 school year.
