Erin Rivet is the new Jr./Sr. Science Teacher at Middleburgh Central Schools. She is originally from Cornwall, but has lived in Albany for her entire adult life.
She earned a degree in chemistry from College of Saint Rose, and completed her master’s in secondary education at SUNY Albany. Before becoming a teacher, Ms. Rivet worked as a laboratory technician for the NYS Department of Health.
Mrs. Rivet says she enjoys helping students engage with science through creative, nature-inspired activities, with a focus on project-based learning and data-driven instruction.

“I look forward to being part of the flourishing Middleburgh community and collaborating with other teachers to create unique learning experiences for students.”

“My favorite hobbies are playing guitar and gardening.”
