New for the 2016-17 school year,
Middleburgh Central School District will be offering a Community
School Program to benefit children in grades 3 through 12. The program will begin on
Monday, January 9, 2017. The
district currrently has constructed plans to roll out a program
for community adults in the next school year, as well.
Aftershool Program Activity Schedules
The Afterschool Program will not take place on early release
days, days during which no afterschool transportation is
provided due to inclement weather, full Staff Development Days
when students are not in school or on snow days.
Transportation, Drop-off and Pick-up Procedures
Bus transportation will be provided to
Middleburgh Elementary School students to the Jr./Sr. High
School, where they will be met by teachers. At the end of the
program each day, children who will be taking bus transportation
to their scheduled drop-off points will leave from the Jr./Sr.
High School. Parents who will be picking up their children
should retrieve their students through the front entrance of the

Adult Education and Student Tutoring to begin after spring
April 11, 2017
The MCS Community School/Afterschool Program
will now include afterschool tutoring in
math and ELA for high school students
(readying struggling students for Regents
and final exams) and two adult evening
programs for residents of the Middleburgh community who are interested
in developing their computer skills or working
out the day's stress with free Zumba

grades 3-12 from Middleburgh Central Schools. Additional details
